5. Quantitative methods - data collection and analysis

Quantitative research is a process of collecting and analysing numerical data. It can be used to assess the impact of new or existing pharmacy services and interventions as well as finding patterns and averages, making predictions and generalising results to wider populations.

This module will introduce you to what quantitative research is and how you can use it in practice, how to decide on your research population and how to collect, handle and analyse the data you collect to ensure high quality research.
