This module supports you to develop essential knowledge, skills and confidence needed to perform clinical assessments and physical examinations to provide safe and effective care to your patients.

This has primarily been designed for pharmacists working in primary care but may also be useful for pharmacists working in other settings.

    • Heart rate and rhythm
    • Mental and cognitive state examination
    • Peak expiratory flow rate

    • Respiratory rate
    • Temperature
    • Urinalysis
  2. Identify red flag symptoms associated with clinical assessments
  3. Discriminate between normal and abnormal findings
  4. Offer safety netting advice following a clinical assessment
