Type 2 diabetes: an introduction

This module supports you to develop essential knowledge, skills, and confidence in the management of type 2 diabetes in adults.

By the end of the module, you will have an understanding of type 2 diabetes including risk factors, complications, diagnosis, management and the role of the pharmacist in patient care. Practical application will be through a case study and quiz at the end of the module.

This has primarily been designed for pharmacists working in any patient facing clinical role including community, hospital and general practice setting.
