Insomnia Learning Programme

Welcome to the Insomnia Learning Programme!

The RPS is proud to launch this national learning programme, designed to help pharmacists recognise and manage insomnia across both primary and secondary care.

Over the coming months, you’ll have access to a range of learning resources, including:

  • Three e-learning modules covering sleep hygiene, short term insomnia disorder, chronic insomnia disorder, and the impact of insomnia on co morbidities and complications.
  • Three patient-focused podcasts sharing real life experiences with sleep related issues.
  • Two webinar recordings exploring sleep hygiene and the health impacts of insomnia - already available to watch and listen to.

This programme is designed to build clinical knowledge and confidence. It highlights the extensive effects of insomnia on overall wellbeing and supports pharmacists in delivering evidence based care, promoting sleep hygiene, and empowering patients to self care.
